With a world that is moving ever faster the workers of today need a way to keep up with their tasks whilst they are on the go. Office workers are getting busier all the time and people need to be able to work away from their desk. Some people try to answer emails on their commute and some take their work home with them. Many blog posts argue that netbooks or laptops are the best for this kind of work as tablets are too hard to operate in a fluent manner; however this may no longer be the case.
A new company founded in 2008 in Fremont California called Tactus may have revolutionized tablets for ever. They have created a technology that allows ordinary touch screens to morph into key boards to increase user friendliness and the all-round usefulness. This may seem impossible to imagine and even harder to picture, so why not check out this video:
This will soon be adopted by all the major tablet and touchscreen phone companies, this will allow workers to type at reasonable speeds whilst on their commute or even at home, this will be especially useful for workers who have full tower computers at their desk, as this means they can never take it home.
This new technology will increase productivity and greatly increase the availability of workers at all time, as office workers will find it easy to reply to emails no matter where they are. The people at company has received multiple awards for their developments and they are doing a lot to engage with the technological and scientific community to better their products further.
In December of 2011 this helped them close a $6 Million investment that helped them bring the technology to the stage that it is now. They have really put the touch into touch screens.
